Group 1: PRICE, SQUARE METERS, PRICE PER SQUARE METER and CONSTRUCTION YEAR
The price and the size of a property are the basic factors that are taken into account, when looking for an investment property. The price is usually dictated by the budget constraints and/or the amount that an investor is willing to spend on a single property. The construction year of a property plays an important role as well. The newer buildings are often better insulated and have lower maintenance costs among other things.
The graph above presents data on price per square meter in Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. Amsterdam prices are not just higher on average, but they also have a wider range. The prices in The Hague and Rotterdam are quite similar.
